my name’s bethany moinly, and if you can hear this, you’re a
student at west county high, ‘the best school in north america.’
if you’ve gone through a day of classes already, you’ve figured
out that’s a big lie. the whole best school in north america thing
is nothing more than a cover story put up for why students
from across the country come to west county. this school isn’t
here to offer gifted children a higher education.
west county high is a school for the supernatural.
we’re talking about creatures from horror movies: vampires,
werewolves, witches, and wizards – all mixed in with humans.
most of us aren’t like our movie counterparts – i’m a witch my
self, and i swear i don’t have warts – and if you think we’re
anything like the ones mentioned in twilight or harry potter,
you’re freaking nuts.
our world has no volturi. we have no law. we have free reign to
do whatever we want, and mainly the only rule most of us accept
is to keep the secret in our world. too late for that – times are ch
anging, and things are becoming necessary. the headmaster’s br
ought it upon himself by mixing us all up with humans. but yeah, w
e don’t have anybody to fear punishing us if we break that rule. wh
ich means that we’re allowed to do whatever we want. and there a
re some who have taken that right and abused it beyond belief.
that’s exactly why i’m sending this message out to all of you. there’s
this group of vampires, this mafia or whatever you want to call it, wh
o are going around and starting some sort of grotesque operation. w
orse, they’ve got human pets wrapped around their little fingers and
a rogue werewolf has joined them. and speaking of werewolves.. we
ll, they’re doing exactly the same thing.
well, all i can say is, you’d be better off not getting involved. these
people aren’t here for your entertainment, and if you mess with the
m, you’re going to get yourself in a whole load of trouble. try your
best to not get kille-”
